These Workshops are for children who are ready to attend class on their own.  The door will be closed and the window will be covered to insure quality instruction.  You may drop your dancer off at the studio or stay in the lobby area.

Cupid’s Ball                           February 11          3:00pm-6:00pm (3hrs) 

This 1 day dance camp centered around a Valentine’s Day Theme. They will learn a fun Valentine’s Day dance along with creating props and crafts to complete the camp. Dancers will be instructed on prop creation, usage, and storage when they work together to build the necessary items needed for their dance.  This dance camp is designed to help dancers build self-esteem, teamwork, and communication skills as dance movement is combined together for a performance the last 15 minutes of the camp.  Please bring water and a light snack for the break.

Goldilicious                           March 24               3:00pm-6:00pm (3hrs)

This 1 day dance camp combines the technique of ballet, tumbling, and prop creation into a fun and exciting presentation that will be performed for family and friends of the dancers. This dance camp is based on the book “Goldilicious”, and has the same characters from the original “Pinkalicious” Series. Dancers will be instructed on prop creation, usage, and storage when they work together to build the necessary items needed for each dance.  This dance camp is designed to help dancers build self-esteem, teamwork, and communication skills as dance movement is combined together for a performance the last 15 minutes of the camp.  Please bring water and a light snack for the break.

Scrapbooking for MOMMY                                Apr. 3-5                 10am-4pm per day 

(This activity will be $60 for the 3 days, which includes childcare for 1 child, each additional child is $20 for the week.)

This 3 day extravaganza will be full of fun demos and time to experiment with fellow scrapbookers.  We will have tools to utilize along with learning new and exciting ways to chronicle your family life.  While mommies are having fun children will be playing games, crafting and creating memorable projects in the next room.  We will also be having small give aways each hour of different scaping supplies!

Tiara Club                             Apr. 28                   3:00pm-6:00pm (3hrs)

This camp will focus on the being a princess.  It is based on a popular book series in UK.  You may check out additional information at www.tiaraclub.co.uk.  There were six original princesses and they are continuing to add more to the series.  This camp will focus on the dress and make-up of a princess with a fashion show, an elegant dance with enchanting moves that only a princess would know and so much more.  Parents please make sure to come back for a performance the last 15min of the camp.  Please bring water and a light snack for the break

Hawaiian Luau                     May 5                     3:00pm-6:00pm (3hrs) 

This 1 day camp will focus on the Hawaiian culture.  In the beginning, dancers will be given their Hawaiian names and learn a dance “Pearly Shells”.  They will create their own Lei’s and grass skirts.  They will also learn the names of several Hawaiian dance steps along with other common words in the Hawaiian Language.  This dance camp is designed to help dancers build self-esteem, teamwork, and communication skills as dance movement is combined together for a performance the last 15 minutes of the camp.  Please bring water and a light snack for the break.
