Millie began her dance career with a broken lollipop tap dancing to Good Ship Lollipop at the age of three. Things could only get better from there. She continued training in Tap, Jazz, and Ballet with Miss Paunie Bergen. When Ms. Bergen returned to New York, she recommended Millie take private instructions from Maceo Anderson, one of the original Step Brothers. In addition to this, Millie also stayed involved with dance at school through baton twirling, drill team, and songleading.

At the university level, Millie studied Tap, Ballet, Jazz, and Modern at Oregon State University and the University of Nevada-Reno. At this time, she began training and teaching Jazz and Tap and eventually became the Assistant Director of Ken Malone Studios, the largest studio in Nevada at that time. Millie got her first professional job in Reno and continued to work as a professional dancer for 12 years.
She now enjoys teaching tap and watching her daughter, Darby, and her son, Cooper, as they dance, sing, and act. Oh yeah, she has a great husband too! She can’t wait to inspire you and your dancer with her amazing rhythmical feet
