Christina Sevilla was born in San Diego, CA. She has been dancing since the young age of three, and has over 20 years of dance experience. In 2000, she graduated from Chula Vista High School from the Creative and Performing Arts as a Dance Major. She then continued her studies at San Diego State University completing her Baccalaureate Degrees in Business Administration and Fine Arts. Christina is professionally trained in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Modern. She has choreographed several competition teams, which have won many platinum and first place trophies including best choreography, top group, solo, duet, and trio awards. Christina has participated in and choreographed dance routines for many dance competitions including LA Dance Force, Showstopper, Star Quest, and Tremaine. Her motivation for being the "best" choreographer shows in her teaching skills. Christina is very dedicated to dance, always making sure that students receive excellent and quality instruction.
With numerous choreography ideas and an extended teaching profile in California, she packed her dancing shoes and moved to Las Vegas with the intention of continuing her dancing career. Receiving an invitation to join Kids in Motion, Christina jumped at the chance to teach upcoming dancers and share her talents with our studio. Kids in Motion is delighted to add her to our Faculty List and look forward to developing future projects that illustrate her unique style.
